The City of San Marino appreciates your attendance. Citizens’ interest provides the Public Safety Commission with valuable information regarding issues of the community.
Regular meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any person with a disability who requires modification or accommodation in order to participate in a meeting should contact the City at (626) 300-0735 or at Fire@CityofSanMarinoCA.gov at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting in person or remotely via Zoom, however, the meeting will proceed as normal even if there are technical difficulties with Zoom. The City will do it’s best to resolve any technical issues as quickly as possible.
Public comment will be accepted by email to Fire@SanMarinoCA.gov until 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. Written public comment received by 3:00 p.m. will be distributed to the Public Safety Commission during the meeting. Any comments received after 3:00 p.m. will be included in the public comment record but not provided to Public Safety Commission at the meeting.
Written public comment will be accepted electronically via the zoom.us teleconference module during the meeting. Written Zoom comments will be accepted after the in-person comments.

POSTING OF AGENDA
The agenda is posted 72 hours prior to each meeting at the following locations: City Hall, 2200 Huntington Drive, the Crowell Public Library, 1890 Huntington Drive, and the Stoneman Building, 1560 Pasqualito Drive. The agenda is also posted on the City’s website: www.SanMarinoCA.gov.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
The City welcomes public input. Members of the public may address the Public Safety Commission by completing a public comment card prior to the meeting. At this time, the public may address the Public Safety Commission on items that are not on the agenda. Pursuant to state law, the Public Safety Commission may not discuss or take action on issues not on the meeting agenda (Government Code Section 54954.3). The Chair reserves the right to place limits on duration of comments. Staff may be asked to follow up on such items.

This is an opportunity for members of the Public Safety Commission to inform the public of any meetings or conferences they may have attended.
NEW BUSINESS

MULTIWAY STOP CONTROL WARRANTS ANALYSIS - ORLANDO ROAD AND AVONDALE ROAD
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Public Safety Commission receive and file the attached Traffic Review for Huntington Drive and San Marino Avenue, and recommend staff begin the implementation of Transtech’s recommended improvements. If the Commission concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:
”I move to receive and file the attached Multiway Stop Control Warrants Analysis prepared by Hartzog & Crabill Inc., for Orlando Road and Avondale Road, and recommend staff begin the implementation of the proposed improvements.”
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Commission receive and file the Police Department Monthly Report. If the Commission concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:
“I move to receive and file the Police Department Monthly Report.”
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Commission receive and file the Fire Department Monthly Report. If the Commission concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:
“I move to receive and file the Fire Department Monthly Report.”
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Public Safety Commission receive and file this report. If the Commission concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:
”I move to receive and file the March 2025 Parks and Public Works Department Report.”
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Commission approve the minutes of March 17, 2025. If the Commission concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:
”I move to approve the minutes of March 17, 2025”.
